If you neglect to maintain your grill, this can have adverse effects on the performance of your grill. These effects include uneven heat, lingering food on the grates, and low temperatures.

We will give you some tips to add to your monthly maintenance plan to ensure you keep your Cal Flame in mint condition!

Tips on how to do the cleaning of your gas grill

Clean your grill lid

This tip is simple. Just wipe down the outside of the grill lid with stainless-steel BBQ grill cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

Clean the surrounding island

Use a microfiber towel and surface cleaner to wipe down the surrounding areas of your grill as well.

Clean the inside of the grill

Clean the inside of your grill using a wire brush and warm soapy water. Rinse with water. Towel dry the burners and return them to their original place.

Burn off any food residue

Turn your burners up to high for 15 minutes. Food debris will burn and turn to ash when the grill reaches these high temperatures. Then, you can easily scrub off any leftover debris using a stainless steel bristle brush.
